ZX-524 A/D-D/A CONVERTOR
The ZX-524 is a multi-channel analog convertor with sample/hold amplifiers, each with its own gain adjustment. Sample/Hold time is The ZX-524 features four channels of discrete DAC's (voltage output device) and four channels of discrete A/D's, each capable of providing up to eight channels of A/D conversion using eight channel multiplexers.
The digital to analog conversion section is comprised of a single VLSI package (AD 390). This device has four 12-bit DAC's with a maximum settling time of 8us to -±1/2LSB. Each channel of the DAC is buffered with a pair of high speed operational amplifiers.
