The ZX-250 is a floppy and Winchester controller which will control up to four 51/4 inch ST-506/412 interface Winchester disk drives and up to four 51/4 inch or 8 inch floppy disk drives. The ZX-250 features a 4KB Dual-Ported RAM buffer, DMA transfers from floppy and Winchester drives to or from on or off board memory, DMA transfers from on-board memory to off- board memory, byte-wide memory to memory transfers between any two memories on the Multibus and 24-bit addressing.
