The ZX-090 contains 8KB or 16KB of CMOS RAM, battery backed-up with three NiCad batteries, which will supply a minimum of seven days (186 hours) continuous back-up when fully charged. The ZX-090 contains jumpers to allow the user to locate the memory anywhere in a 1MB field, along any 16K boundary starting at 00000. To protect the data in the memory during a power failure all access is denied to the ZX-090 RAM approximately 3.8 msec after an AC power fail interrupt.
